Silver Creek, GA (November 7, 2019) – On Tuesday afternoon around 4:30 p.m., police responded to a serious car accident with injuries at 5700 Rockmart Road.
The crash took place when a Ford Explorer suddenly rear-ended a vehicle that was making a turn into the parking lot of the Silver Creek Church of God. This caused a second wreck to occur, involving two more vehicles.
A total of seven people were hospitalized due to the collision.
When police checked on the driver of the Explorer, they found that he had a python snake wrapped around his hand. He was also charged with possession, driving under the influence of drugs, and more. Another man was also charged with drug-related crimes.
No other details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
