Stockbridge, GA (November 27, 2020) – Around 9:43 p.m. on Friday night, November 27, a tractor-trailer crash with injuries took place in Stockbridge.
Henry County officials confirmed that the crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-75 close to the area of Jodeco Road. The accident involved a tractor-trailer and at least one or more passenger vehicles that collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
All lanes of traffic were closed down in the area for some time. Police urged those traveling through to find alternate routes.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
