Stone Mountain, GA (January 15, 2020) – Around 8 p.m. this evening, DeKalb County authorities were called to the scene of a vehicle accident in Stone Mountain.
The collision took place at the intersection of Covington Highway and Young Road when two vehicles collided in Stone Mountain. Police have not yet commented on the circumstances leading up to the collision.
Paramedics were present at the scene of the accident assisting those with injuries. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
Police urged those in the area to utilize Hairston Road as an alternative route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
