Stone Mtn, GA – Injury Accident at N Hairston Rd & Clarion Pass Intersection
Stone Mountain, GA (January 11, 2022) – Around 7 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, January 12, an injury accident occurred at a Stone Mountain intersection.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of North Hairston Road and Clarion Pass. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was completely blocked at the intersection. Police urged those in the area to use caution until the scene was cleared.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
