Tucker, GA (August 20, 2020) – Around 12:30 p.m. this afternoon, police responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries in Tucker.
Dekalb County Police Department officials responded to the scene of the collision where they found that two or more vehicles collided with each other in the northbound lanes of The Perimeter near the area of Lavista Road. The vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction crash that led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and fire crews were dispatched to assist at the scene of the accident. Fire crews extricated one or more victims from their vehicles, who were then transported to hospitals for medical treatment.
The accident caused two left lanes of traffic to be closed for a period of time. This led to extensive delays in the Tucker area.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
