Union City, GA (August 1, 2020) – Around 11:38 a.m. this morning, authorities responded to the scene of a car accident on a major Union City highway.

According to authorities, the collision happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 near the area of Flat Shoals Road. The accident involved several vehicles, all of which were severely damaged due to the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the collision. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
