Valdosta, GA – Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident on Old Clyattville Rd
Valdosta, GA (May 4, 2021) – At 10:30 a.m. on Monday morning, May 3, a fatal two-vehicle accident happened on a roadway in Valdosta.
According to the Valdosta Police Department, the accident happened at 1700 Old Clyattville Road when two vehicles collided with each other. The exact circumstances leading up to the accident are not yet known but the vehicles were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. A 41-year-old male driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
