Oxford, GA (January 16, 2020) – On Tuesday afternoon, January 14, police responded to a four-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 138 and Cannon Farm Road in Oxford.
The accident occurred around 3:15 p.m. when three vehicles forcefully collided, with all three ending up on the sides of the road. The vehicles had severe damages.
Traffic was rerouted onto Gum Creek Road for several hours due to the severity of the accident. Police urged those in the area to avoid the roadway.
There were multiple injuries reported but the extent of those injuries is not yet known.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision at this time.
