Statesboro, GA (February 13, 2020) – Around 10 a.m. yesterday, February 12, police responded to the scene of a fatal crash at a Statesboro intersection.
The accident, according to authorities, took place at the intersection of Country Club Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway.
According to police, a 5-year-old child was pronounced dead following the collision.
Police are not yet sure of the circumstances that led up to the accident. They said that there are charges being filed at this time.
Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
