Atlanta, GA – Child Struck in Pedestrian Accident on Sylvan Rd

Atlanta, GA (November 10, 2019) – On Saturday, November 9, a child was struck and injured in a pedestrian accident on Sylvan Road in Atlanta.

The accident took place at 1800 Sylvan Road when the 11-year-old child was struck by a passenger vehicle. Police are not sure of the exact circumstances leading up to the collision.

The child was rushed to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta with injuries but is expected to make a recovery.

The driver who struck the child remained at the scene of the accident. Police continue to investigate at this time.
