Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C. uses artificial intelligence in our content process. We say that plainly because you deserve plain answers, and because how we use it matters more than whether we use it.
There are two ways to use AI. One hands the process to the machine: pick a topic, press a button, publish whatever comes out. The internet is drowning in that kind of content. It reads smoothly and says nothing, because no one with real knowledge ever touched it.
The other way has a name older than most people realize: intelligence augmentation. Computer scientists proposed it in the 1960s as the alternative to artificial intelligence. Instead of building machines to replace human thinking, build tools that amplify it. The human mind sets the direction, makes the judgments, and holds final authority. The machine handles volume, speed, and recall. That is the model we follow. Our attorneys and editors are the masters of this process. AI is the power tool in their hands, and a power tool never decides what gets built.
How a Page Gets Made Here
Every piece of content on this site moves through the same sequence. Humans control every gate.
1. A person decides the page should exist
Nothing here gets published because a machine found a keyword. Our editorial team plans content around the real questions injured Georgians ask us, in consultations, on the phone, and in the cases we handle. If a page does not serve a real question from a real person, it does not get made.
2. Research is gathered with AI, then verified by hand
We use AI tools to gather and organize research quickly. Then the verification starts, and the verification is human. Every statute and legal deadline is checked against the official Georgia General Assembly record before it appears in our content. Every attorney credential we publish is confirmed against the State Bar of Georgia’s official records. If we cannot verify a claim at the source, it does not ship. Not “probably right.” Verified or gone.
3. Drafting is assisted. Judgment is not.
AI helps our writers draft faster, the way spell-check and research databases helped the generation before. What it never does is decide what the law means, what an injured person should do, or what advice appears on a page. Legal judgment comes from lawyers. Anything that reads like guidance was directed and approved by a human being who is accountable for it.
4. Editors enforce a standard machines cannot fake
Our founder’s standing instruction to everyone who writes for this firm: never sound like a law firm ad. Talk like a neighbor who happens to know the law. Human editors hold every draft to that standard. They cut the filler, translate the legal terms into plain English, and reject copy that reads like it came off an assembly line, whether a person or a machine wrote it. If a Georgia 8th grader cannot understand a sentence, it gets rewritten.
5. Attorneys review what attorneys should review
Content that touches legal rights, deadlines, medical consequences, or money gets attorney review before it publishes. Our managing attorney oversees the review standard. When we name a reviewing attorney on a page, that attorney actually reviewed it.
6. The firm stands behind every word
Accountability never transfers to a tool. If something on this site is wrong, that is our failure, not a computer’s. Tell us and we will fix it.
What AI Does Here, and What It Never Does
AI assists with: gathering and organizing research, first drafts under human direction, checking consistency across hundreds of pages, formatting and structure, and catching errors human eyes miss at scale.
AI never: decides what we publish, gives legal opinions, establishes facts, invents statistics or case results, replaces attorney review, or speaks for this firm. No page on this site was generated and published without human direction, human verification, and human approval.
Our Standards Against Machine-Made Noise
You have seen the flood of AI-generated pages built to catch search traffic and say nothing. We hold ourselves to the opposite standard, and we put it in writing:
- Every page earns its existence. We do not mass-produce pages to blanket search results. A page exists because it answers a real question better than what already exists.
- Every factual claim traces to a source. Statutes to the official state record. Credentials to the bar. Case results to the actual case, stated with their real context, because a settlement number without the human story behind it is just a billboard.
- Experience is real, not simulated. When our content reflects 45 years of practicing law in Georgia, that number is anchored to Ken Nugent’s 1980 bar admission, not rounded for effect. When we describe what insurance companies do after a wreck, that comes from decades of sitting across the table from them.
- Nothing publishes on autopilot. There is no volume target, no automated pipeline from prompt to publish, and no page a human has not read.
Why We Publish This
Because trust is the whole business. People call us on the worst day of their lives, and the information that led them here has to be worthy of that call. Search engines and AI assistants are also learning to tell the difference between verified, human-accountable content and generated noise. We welcome that. It is the standard we already hold.
Technology will keep changing. This commitment will not: at Kenneth S. Nugent, P.C., a human mind with a Georgia law license stands behind what we publish. The tools amplify our people. They do not replace them.
