Guitar Symposium and Competition

Billed as one of the largest annual festivals of its kind in Georgia, the Guitar Symposium is a world-class event that brings together seasoned local and international guitarists for education and fun. Hosted by the music department at Columbus State University, this two-day event is highlighted by artist concerts, lectures, and master classes. The symposium takes place at the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts and is open to the public.

Food Truck Festival

The Food Truck Festival features over 40 trucks from the best gourmet food sellers in the region. Apart from the mouthwatering delicacies, there is also a live DJ and a beer garden to keep the people entertained all day long.

Frogtown Crawfish Festival

Also known for its tasty foods, finely crafted beers, and LIVE Louisiana crawfish, the Frogtown Crawfish Festival is an event you can afford to miss. This two-day festival takes place in late June and is one of the most anticipated annual events in Columbia. You can also expect unlimited live music, arts and crafts displays, games, rides, raffles and giveaways.

Fall Fest

The Columbus city annual Fall Festival is organized by a local nonprofit organization and is aimed at promoting the economy. This family-fun extravaganza features unique vendors, rides, face painting, drinks, BBQ, and a kid’s play area. Just like the name suggests, the Fall Fest takes place towards the end of September in Uptown Columbus.

Artist Alley

First celebrated in 2018, Artist Alley is the latest addition to the list of annual events in Columbus. The festival gives the people of Columbus a chance to shop for authentic art pieces during the festive season, asserting the belief that art makes the best holiday gifts. The festival is mainly aimed at promoting homegrown talents which explain its fast growing popularity just a year after its debut.
