Savannah is one of the most interesting vacation destinations especially during the holidays thanks to the annual Christmas on the River celebration. This festival spans a total of three days in early December and features everything from arts and crafts exhibitions and stocking stuffers, all the way to discounted holiday gifts, and unlimited entertainment. The Savannah city Lighted Christmas Parade marks the climax of this highly anticipated holiday celebration.
