Barton Goode is the Director of Attorney Performance at the Ken Nugent Law Firm, where he focuses on improving outcomes for both clients and legal teams by designing systems that educate, incentivize, and enforce accountability to best practices. In addition to his firmwide leadership role, Barton maintains an active practice in personal injury litigation.
 
Barton earned his B.A. in History from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and his J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. While at Mercer, he was active in student leadership and co-founded the Mercer Law Free Press. After being admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2012, Barton built his practice representing injured clients and developed a reputation for addressing the practical and human realities that accompany serious injury cases. His work now centers on aligning attorney development, client experience, and firm-level execution – bringing a practitioner’s perspective to leadership, accountability, and sustainable growth.
