He was admitted to practice law in Tennessee in 1990, and worked primarily in general practice, which included the areas of civil litigation, criminal defense, bankruptcy and insurance law, among others. He relocated to the Atlanta area in late 1992 after he was admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia. He is admitted to all State Courts in Georgia as well as Federal District Courts in both Tennessee and Georgia.
