Albany, GA – Man On Riding Lawnmower Struck & Killed By Motorcycle Driver

Albany, GA (August 23, 2023) – An unfortunate incident unfolded on Tuesday night, resulting in the tragic passing of a 75-year-old individual identified as Rodney Raymond Cardot, as confirmed by the Dougherty County coroner. Mr. Cardot was struck and killed by a motorcycle while on his riding lawnmower.

The collision occurred on Nelms Road. Regrettably, Cardot’s was pronounced dead at 9:22 p.m., as conveyed by Coroner Michael Fowler.

The motorcyclist involved in the crash survived, though their current condition remains undisclosed.
