The Jefferson Awards Foundation is an organization committed to fostering the amazing potential of Americans and recognizing outstanding service to the community.
Their youth programs train and empower young people to become leaders and mechanisms for positive change in schools, communities, and workplaces. Since 1972, the Jefferson Awards National Ceremonies have brought recognition to these local, “Unsung Heroes” with their Gold Seal of Service.
Each month, a local winner is selected from the group of nominees. Kenneth S. Nugent, PC is proud to announce that our Albany office will be participating as a local judge and will be attending the 1st annual Jefferson Awards Banquet for Albany on February 18, 2016. The winner of this event will go on to represent Albany in the National Awards Banquet in Washington, D.C.
