6/8 Tifton, GA – Teen Killed in Fatal Crash at US-82 & Carpenter Rd

Atlanta, GA (May 4, 2021) – At 6:19 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, May 4, a semi-truck accident happened at an intersection in Atlanta.

According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of Moreland Avenue and Custer Avenue. An ambulance was on its way to a call with its lights and sirens activated. The driver of a semi-truck stopped in front of the ambulance quickly, which led to a rear-end collision. This led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the ambulance and female passenger inside the vehicle were injured and hospitalized. Nobody else was injured as a result.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
