E Point, GA – Lanes Blocked After Injury Accident on I-285
East Point, GA (October 26, 2021) – At 6:28 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, October 26, an injury accident occurred on a highway in East Point.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Washington Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
