Jonesboro, GA (July 21, 2021) – At 6:35 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, July 21, a car accident happened at an intersection in Jonesboro.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Tara Boulevard and Winding Way. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. This led to delays in the area.
