Chickamauga, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on US-27
Chickamauga, GA (April 2, 2021) – Around 9 a.m. on Friday morning, April 2, a two-vehicle collision took place on a major highway in Chickamauga.
According to Walker County officials, the accident happened at 12560 US-27 when two vehicles collided in the area in front of Greg’s Restaurant. It is not yet known what caused the vehicles to collide but both sustained severe damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with a variety of injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
