Cobb Co, GA – Victim Seriously Injured in Car Wreck on Ernest Barrett Pkwy at Villa Rica Rd
Cobb Co, GA (April 1, 2021) – Around 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, March 31, injuries were reported in a collision that took place on a highway in Cobb County.
Officers with the Cobb County Police Department confirmed that a 65-year-old Marietta man was hospitalized on Wednesday after the wreck, which occurred on Ernest Barrett Parkway. He was driving northbound on Barrett Parkway, just north of Villa Rica Road, when the collision happened.
The man was unconscious at the scene and transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital via ambulance. It’s unclear how many other drivers were involved.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time. Cobb County officers have asked that anyone with additional information contact investigators at (770) 499-3987.
