Marietta, GA – Injury Car Crash Reported on I-75 at Canton Rd & MP 267
Marietta, GA (April 8, 2021) – Around 12:00 a.m. on Thursday evening, April 8, a car accident occurred on a highway in Marietta and resulted in injuries.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident took place in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 around the area of Canton Road. Police stated that the accident involved several vehicles and led to extensive damages in the exit ramp at milepost 267.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
