6/9 Cartersville, GA – Car Accident at Grassdale Rd & Jones Mill Rd

Gainesville, GA (April 15, 2021) – Around 5:26 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, April 15, a car crash took place at an intersection in Gainesville.

Hall County officials confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of US-129 and Barrett Road. Two vehicles collided in the area, with one striking a pole. This caused damages to the vehicles and wires down in the area.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
