Tifton, GA – Fatal Accident at Ridge Ave & 4th St Intersection
Tifton, GA (April 16, 2021) – Around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, April 15, a fatal accident took place at an intersection in Tifton.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Ridge Avenue and 4th Street. A 77-year-old driver was traveling in the area when his vehicle was struck in the side by a white GNC.
The 77-year-old man was rushed to Tift Regional with a variety of traumatic injuries. He was pronounced dead while there.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
Georgia State Patrol continues its investigation into the accident.
