Tucker, GA (April 16, 2021) – Around 7:30 a.m. on Friday morning, April 16, an apartment fire in Tucker left one person with injuries.

According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened at 3595 Woodbriar Circle at the Northlake Manor apartments. When crews arrived after a call, they found an apartment completely engulfed in flames. One person was stuck on a second-story balcony.

The person who was trapped was quickly rescued. The victim was taken to the hospital by paramedics with minor injuries caused by the fire but they are expected to be okay.

Approximately 10 units were affected by the apartment fire, with 18 people being displaced.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
