Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision in SB Lanes of I-75 Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (April 17, 2021) – Before 10 p.m. on Friday night, April 16, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta that led to injuries.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of North Avenue (Exit 249). Multiple vehicles collided with each other in the area due to unknown reasons, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who were injured in the accident, were rushed to local hospitals for treatment.
Multiple right lanes were blocked in the area until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
