Jackson, GA – Car Crash with Injuries in SB Lanes of I-75
Jackson, GA (April 18, 2021) – Around 10:15 a.m. on Sunday morning, April 18, a car crash took place on a highway in Jackson.
According to Lamar County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of High Falls Road. Two or more vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were immediately transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time, which led to delays for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
