Atlanta, GA – Fatal Pedestrian Crash at 10th St & Northside Dr
Atlanta, GA (April 19, 2021) – At 11 a.m. on Monday morning, April 19, a fatal pedestrian crash occurred at an intersection in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of 10th Street and Northside Drive around the area of the Georgia Tech campus. A female pedestrian was allegedly crossing the street when she was struck by a passenger vehicle in the area.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The unidentified female was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and has not yet been charged.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
