6/1 Adairsville, GA – Injuries Reported in Motorcycle Accident on I-75

Clarkesville, GA (April 20, 2021) – Around 4:24 p.m. on Monday afternoon, April 19, a motorcycle accident occurred on a roadway in Clarkesville.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the collision happened on SR-115. A red sedan was pulling onto SR-115 from Habersham Mills Road, which is when it struck a motorcycle. The motorcycle was unable to avoid the accident and struck the back of the vehicle. Police confirmed that the driver of the vehicle then fled the scene.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been formally identified, suffered from minor injuries. They are expected to recover.

Troopers continue to look for the driver responsible for the accident. Their investigation remains ongoing.
