Dallas, GA – Car Accident at Intersection of Hiram Sudie Rd & Hwy 61
Dallas, GA (April 20, 2021) – Around noon on Tuesday, April 20, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dallas.
According to Paulding County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Hiram Sudie Road and Highway 61. Two or more vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police urged those traveling through the area to use Highway 278 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
