Ringgold, GA – Fatal Accident at Ooltewah Ringgold Rd & Swanson Rd
Ringgold, GA (April 20, 2021) – Around 7 p.m. on Monday evening, April 19, a fatal accident occurred at an intersection in Ringgold.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Ooltewah Ringgold Road and Swanson Road. Two vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
