Atlanta, GA – Tractor-Trailer Accident with Injuries on I-20
Atlanta, GA (April 30, 2021) – Around 10:49 a.m. on Friday morning, April 30, a tractor-trailer accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Fulton Industrial Boulevard. A tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized for treatment of their injuries.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for period of time, which led to delays. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 78 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
