Monroe, GA – Car Accident at Hwy 81 & Double Springs Rd Intersection
Monroe, GA (April 30, 2021) – On Friday night, April 30, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Monroe that led to injuries.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 81 and Double Springs Road. Two or more vehicles collided in the area of the accident after entering the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The road was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
