Calhoun, GA – Car Accident with Injuries at US-41 & GA-53 Intersection
Calhoun, GA (May 1, 2021) – Around 4:45 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, April 30, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Calhoun.
According to Gordon County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of US-41 and GA-53. Several vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
The intersection was blocked for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
