Walnut Grove, GA (May 1, 2021) – At 4:44 p.m. on Friday afternoon, April 30, a serious car accident occurred at an intersection in Walnut Grove.

According to Walton County Sheriff’s deputies, the accident happened at the intersection of Park Street and Guthrie Cemetery Road. Two or more vehicles collided in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
