Decatur, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on The Perimeter
Decatur, GA (May 3, 2021) – At 12:48 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, May 3, a multi-vehicle crash took place in Decatur.
According to authorities, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of Glenwood Road. Several vehicles were driving in the area when they collided, causing extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
