6/8 Valdosta, GA – One Killed in Fatal Crash at E Hill Ave & Mildred St

Alamo, GA (May 4, 2021) – On Sunday, May 2, a teen was killed in a fatal UTV accident on a roadway in Alamo.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened on Wheat Road. A 2021 Polaris Ranger was headed north on the roadway when the driver lost control, struck a ditch, and overturned.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. A 16-year-old teen girl from Lumber City was on her way to the hospital with traumatic injuries when she was pronounced deceased.

Police confirmed that two other juveniles were injured as a result of the crash. It is not known who was driving the UTV at the time due to conflicting statements.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
