Cartersville, GA (May 4, 2021) – At 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, May 4, a two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred in Cartersville.

According to Cartersville officials, the accident happened at 230 Porter Street when two vehicles collided with each other in the area due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
