Atlanta, GA (May 5, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, May 5, a car accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.

According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Paces Ferry Road. Two or more vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

Due to the severity of the crash, debris was left scattered all over the roadway in the left lanes. This led to delays in the area for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
