Canton, GA – Car Crash at Cumming Hwy & Scott Rd Intersection
Canton, GA (May 7, 2021) – At 11:50 a.m. on the morning of Friday, May 7, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Canton.
According to the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Cumming Highway and Scott Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
