Sandy Springs, GA – Car Crash Causes Injuries on I-285 at Roswell Rd in Fulton Co
Sandy Springs, GA (May 8, 2021) – At 6:30 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, May 8, a car accident occurred on a roadway in Sandy Springs.
According to police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 at the Roswell Road ramp. Two vehicles collided with each other for reasons that are not yet known. Wreckers were seen in the area removing the vehicles from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with various injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
