Marietta, GA – Pedestrian Crash with Injuries on Powder Springs Rd
Marietta, GA (May 10, 2021) – On Sunday morning, May 9, a pedestrian crash with injuries occurred on a Marietta roadway.
According to Marietta Police, the accident happened on Powder Springs Road around the area of Chestnut Hill Road. A 35-year-old man was walking on the roadway when he was suddenly struck by a Hyundai Tiburon that was traveling through the area.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The man was rushed to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in critical condition and remains there at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
