LaGrange, GA – Fatal Accident at Hamilton Rd & E Lukken Industrial Dr
LaGrange, GA (May 11, 2021) – At 8 p.m. on Monday evening, May 9, a fatal accident occurred at an intersection in LaGrange.
According to LaGrange Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Hamilton Road and Lukken Industrial Drive. A vehicle stopped at the intersection and then continued onward when it was suddenly struck by a second vehicle.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene. Two victims, identified as a 77-year-old woman and a 46-year-old woman, were both pronounced dead at the scene. It is not known if any parties were injured as a result.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
