Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on I-75 Near Courtland St
Atlanta, GA (May 22, 2021) – At 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, May 22, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Courtland Street. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in two center lanes until police cleared the scene.
