6/15 Calhoun, GA – Man Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Fairmount Hwy

Augusta, GA (May 22, 2021) – On Friday, May 21, a motorcycle crash with serious injuries occurred on a roadway in Augusta.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred on Winsor Spring Road in the area of Tobacco Road. A motorcycle and at least one other vehicle collided in the area, which led to severe damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital for treatment of injuries, though their condition is not yet known.

One lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
