LaFayette, GA – Rollover Accident with Injuries on GA-27 & Center Grove Rd
LaFayette, GA (May 23, 2021) – On Sunday, May 23, a rollover accident involving one vehicle occurred at an intersection in LaFayette.
According to Walker County officials, the accident happened on GA-27 near the area of Center Grove Road. One vehicle was traveling in the area when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll off the side of the road. The vehicle was left with severe damages as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims received serious injuries and were hospitalized. Their current conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
