Acworth, GA (May 27, 2021) – At 10:14 a.m. on Thursday morning, May 27, a car accident happened at an intersection in Acworth.

According to Paulding County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Dabbs Bridge Road and Crystal Mountain Road. Two or more vehicles collided when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time, which led to delays in the area.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
