Fayetteville, GA – Fatal Motorcycle Accident at GA-54 & Gingercake Rd
Fayetteville, GA (May 27, 2021) – On Wednesday evening, May 26, a fatal motorcycle accident occurred at an intersection in Fayetteville.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-54 and Gingercake Road. An SUV was traveling east in the area when the driver made a turn at the intersection and collided with a motorcycle.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The roadway was blocked in the area until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
