Atlanta, GA – Police Investigating Multi-Vehicle Wreck on I-75 at Forest Pkwy & SR 331
Atlanta, GA (May 31, 2021) – Around 5:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon, May 31, a multi-vehicle collision took place on a highway in Clayton County, resulting in injuries and involving at least two vehicles.
Officers with the Clayton County Police Department confirmed that the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the Forest Parkway exit and State Route 331. The accident involved two or more vehicles that collided for unknown reasons, leading to injuries and the complete blockage of two left lanes.
Numerous first responders, including Clayton paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene of the crash. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident, though the extent of the injuries is not yet known. It appears that at least one victim was treated at the scene or transported to an area medical center.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues at this time. Clayton County officers have not released any identifying information about the drivers involved.
